Flavouring your simple syrup: Its best to use fresh ingredients as they will give you the boldest flavours. Some of our favourites were; a spring of rosemary, a few slices of fresh ginger, cardamom seeds cracked out of their pods, coffee beans or a few slices of fresh pineapple
In a small sauce pan on medium heat bring your ingredients to a boil. Allow to boil for one minute, then pour into a heat resistant container that an be sealed air tight. Small mason jars are perfect for this.
Warning boiling sugar in no fun when in contact with your skin .....please be careful.
